The new Thuraya S0-2510 is the smallest satellite handset in the industry
The Thuraya SO-2510 weighing only 150g and has the distinctive feature of a
high-resolution coloured screen. This new generation handset is
powerful and offers convenience and mobility.
Where terrestrial and GSM communications are unavailable, this
compact and lightweight handset allows the user to connect to Thruaya’s
satellite telecommunications services in more than 110 nations in
Europe, North, Central Africa and large parts of Southern Africa, the
Middle East, Central and South Asia. * The SO-2510 has unique features
and a range of services including voice, data, fax, short messaging,
Global Positioning System (GPS) and is GPRS enabled.

Thuraya-3 satellite are still under final testing and therefore there
could be some disturbances until officially commercial. GmPRS services
are currently intermittent across the whole Thuraya coverage.
